Calming weekend in Odessa

Last weekend me and Michael have taken a small vacation and went to Odessa (Ukraine) for four days. Despite the windy and cold weather (it's not summer after all), the trip was very romantic, relaxed and calming.
We stopped at the Metro Hotel Apartments - a chic hotel with great service and cozy rooms. Considering that it rained two days out of four, we desperately wanted to stay in our warm room. But the will to be at the sea for as long as we can and to walk in the city has overcome. As for the restaurants I wanted to make a special note to "Tavernetta". I'm not sure if it was a merit of the cold rainy evening (read - romantic) or just the overall atmosphere, but the dinner was amazingly charming and special. I confess, this was my first trip to Odessa and I already want to go back. Apart from it's beauty and flavor this city won my heart by it's special spirit and cosiness, I felt like home there. We have done not much of photographing, so here is few pictures of our trip.

На прошлых выходных мы с Мишей взяли короткий отпуск и отправились в Одессу на четыре дня. Несмотря на очень ветренную и холодную погоду (не лето уже все-таки), поездка была очень романтичной, расслабленной и умиротворяющей.

Мы остановились в Metro Hotel Apartments - шикарный отель с отличным обслуживанием и очень уютными номерами. Учитывая то, что два дня из четырех шел дождь, ужасно не хотелось выходить из теплого номера. Но желание побыть рядом с морем как можно дольше и просто погулять по городу пересилило нас. Что касается заведений, то отдельно хочу выделить ресторан "Tavernetta". Не знаю, повлияло ли то что мы были там холодным дождливым вечером (читайте - романтика :)) или просто сама атмосфера в ресторане располагала, но ужин был очень душевный и особенный. Признаюсь, я была в Одессе впервые и теперь очень хочу обратно. Помимо своей красоты и колорита этот город покорил меня своей особой атмосферой и уютом, я чувствовала себя там, как дома.
