After a busy and difficult days yesterday I finally managed to spent a lazy Sunday. I love when there are such days from time to time - it is an opportunity to relax, forget about the everyday problems and enjoy the comfort and warmth.

Over the past few years fringe has gained the status of the main unseasonal trend. During the summer we wear skirts and dresses with fringe hemline and in winter - elegant boots and bags with fringe. But many people do not even realize that fringe dates back to the days of the Native Americans.

I realy like monochromatic looks, especially grey ones. Despite the fact that it's subdued, grey color makes the whole outfit look elegant and put together and it looks equally good in any situation.

Beanie and faux fur

When I was little, I didn't like beanies. I thought they looked ridiculous and ugly but I continued to wear them because you just can't survive Ukrainian winter without a headwear.

As for me, brown color is perfect for autumn. Among the bright colored trees and fallen leaves it looks cozy and warm.

Many people believe that during the cold season sunglasses are not needed. But in the fall and winter the sun is shining as bright as in the summer.

I like basic and comfortable clothes, especially shirts and jeans. They are perfectly combined with each other and using different accessories and shoes they can be both casual and dressed up.

On the 4th of May was released a new album of the British band Mumford and Sons, "Wilder Mind". To say that I like it is to say nothing. I've been listening this album since the release and I'm still not bored.

Blogger party Ukraine: how it was

On the 3rd of June second Blogger party Ukraine took place. In a cozy Aroma Espresso Bar both new and already known Ukrainian bloggers have met. There were mainly beauty, food, travel and fashion bloggers at the event, who have listened interesting speeches of Daria Shapovalova, Anna K, Anna Serokurova, Nikolay Roginets, Olesya Yatsuk and Igor Bigdan.

Lace and stripes

In the summer heat I feel the most comfortable in breezy clothes made from natural materials, they "breath" and do not constrain moves. But when I want to dress up a little, instead of t-shirt and shorts, I wear this lace skirt instead which is really suitable for such weather.

So happened that I don't listen to Ukrainian or Russian-speaking artists. I grew up on British and American music and I prefer English lyrics in the songs (and also I think that foreign music has a higher quality).

"Retro cruise" festival

Last Sunday I've attended the "Retro cruise" festival which was held in Botanical garden. This day is a great opportunity to travel back in time and dip into the holiday with vintage clothes, retro music and interesting people around.

Casual plaid with ruffles

This no name plaid shirt is my find in a thrift store. I adore everything plaid, love the blue and green combination and love shirts - perfect for me. The only thing that I was concerning about this shirt were ruffles.

Little details have a big value

I really love simple and comfy clothes. But I also love to dress them up a little by adding different accessories and details, which make an outfit more interesting.

Music Friday: Harrison

This Friday I suggest to listen to something carefree, slightly dance and 80-s style. These are the tracks of the young Canadian producer named Harrison (who is, by the way, only 18 years old).

Spring clearly makes me experiment with clothing. This look is not quite usual for me. I never wore a bright pink lipstick before and there is almost no lace clothes in my wardrobe.

Since I really love music and can not imagine my life without it, I decided to create a weekly column in my blog, where I will share with you my favorite tracks. Today I was listening the album "Woman" from the American duet Rhye and it was like a breath of fresh air.

In the first warm Easter day-off I wanted to wear something delicate and spring. And I was surprised that I have found pastel earrings, pastel pink nail polish and a shirt with lilac flowers in my wardrobe

Last weekend me and Michael went to Chernigov (it's Michael's hometown) and I chose comfy and simple look. Especially because the weather was not very nice (the sun quickly was replaced by rain with sleet and hail, yuck...).

Recently the weather in Kiev went crazy - once it's raining, then the sun came out, then it's snowing and then it's all of the above. And though we may wanted to enjoy the warmth of the spring, all we can do is create coziness with the help of clothes.

As Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days are over, I wanted to share with you some facts about it. It was 10th season of this international fashion week here in Ukraine and it showed great results.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days Kiev have ended past Sunday and the show of Ukrainian designer Olga  Andreeva was the last one. Since I was at the show, I've decided to share with you my impressions of the collection.

Black & Grey

I love to make maximum use of all the clothes in my wardrobe. For example, I wear dresses also as skirts, by wearing a sweater or a sweatshirt on top of them. This allows to diversify looks and wear summer clothing during cold weather.

It's just a cosmic skirt

As I wrote earlier, I have some vintage clothes in my wardrobe, which are the inheritance from my aunt. But this velvet skirt was lying in my closet for a long time, up until recently, when I finally had time to bring it to an atelier for some minor adjustments.

Ukrainian Fashion Week: Podolyan fall-winter 2015/2016

This Friday I was lucky to visit the show of Ukrainian designer Vladimir Podolyan, where he showed his fall-winter 2015/2016 collection. I have recently discovered the brand Podolyan and I immediately liked it. Feminine silhouettes, interesting fabrics and laconic tailoring - this is all that I love.

After a long illness, I finally was able to leave home last weekend and fully enjoy the spring weather. Soon we can take off heavy coats and wear light spring jackets and blazers.

Unexpected orange

I'm not one of those who often wears bright colors, I prefer calm and rich shades. But recently I've noticed that my wardrobe is starting to fill with bright clothes. And I like it :)
